Putin greets UAE leader in Moscow

Russian President Vladimir Putin held talks in Moscow on Thursday with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, emphasizing the need to address regional security challenges together.

As Sheikh Mohammed’s plane entered Russian airspace, it was accompanied by military jets in a gesture of honor and welcome.

According to the Khaleej Times, he was received with an official ceremony at Vnukovo Airport, where both countries’ national anthems were played and a guard of honor stood in formation.

The UAE leader greeted senior Russian officials assembled to receive him.

Their discussions will cover expanding cooperation in trade, investment, energy, and other sectors that support mutual development, as well as reviewing key regional and international issues of shared concern.
